THEREALTOR1 Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Buoy 44009 off Delaware gusting above 60mph Unfortunately I don't have a personal weather station (although i've always wanted one and would've loved to have had one for this), so i'm relying on the data coming from the DAFB and other local personal stations on weather underground, but just from an eyes/ears observation standpoint, the last 15 minutes or so have been the strongest rain and NW winds i've experienced here in central DE all day thus far. I don't have a rain gauge but it's been raining hard off and on since yesterday evening. Also in Pike Creek, DE. Agree, it is getting very windy here. Some serious gusts bending the branches bigtime. I'd guess these gusts are easily over 40 mph...maybe close to 50. No anemometer so just a guess.. but it is definitely markedly worse over the last hour.
