Midlo Snow Maker
it's caving to the euro. i'm more confident about a nj/li/sne landfall agreed whats a few hundred miles in 3 runs 18z vs 12z today every run goes west with several days to go it will be in the euro's back pocket
TalcottWx
GFS snow accum map on raleighwx is a little rough and bizarre looking. Keep in mind snow algorithms can be funky and tricky to trust. Does show foot plus in spots northern pa southern ny state however. Take it with a grain of salt.

dan11295
Now we have to wait for the Euro, if the Euro holds serve, then we have the GFS beginning to cave to the it on the capture solution. At which point does this go from a "weenie-storm" fantasy solution to someting that we have to begin to prepare for? Of course how strong the low actually gets is still a crap shoot at this point. Ginx snewx
The old Halloween storm is dead. Long live the new Halloween storm. speaking of dead, welcome back from the...should be fun. I kind of like the GFS scenario as a plausible outcome.

Midlo Snow Maker
GFS track looks good to me this was always more of a maritimes threat and its not going to be stupid strong like the EURO showed. great call mod preview FTW

Typhoon Tip
you kinda pick up on the vibe that your dealing with something special when the single event, its self, covers every season. Blending all - I still fear a potential worse case scenario for storm surging into the upper MA and NY Bite area.

TalcottWx
rotating NW...at 120 it's 959 a good distance SE of the BM. Well, consensus appears to be for a hit now for sure. No doubting that. Really interested in how the nhc/hpc handle the next upcoming days if this is modeled consistently.
