Amped
I'm 3½ miles west of DCA and I'm getting absolutely rocked. Yeah I was how a low in the 2/10/2010 position was not producing winds in DC.

BDR getting Pounded PHL getting Crushed Davis, WV getting buried DCA getting shafted i wouldn't say we're getting shafted, but we're also on the south side of the storm and not in the wintry sector. we're doing better than a lot of areas though...lots of rain, and some decent gusts. i can think of worse ways to spend a monday. snowfan
Crazy wind. Went out an hour ago. A handful of subdivisions, inluding my own, were without power when I returned. Saw at least 3 transformer flashes. No one, including this dumb arse, should be out. We are in our basement as we have tall trees behind our house and are not comfortable sleeping in our room. TradeWinds
Sorry if this has been mentioned but just got back to the computer. Not sure I've ever seen this but it was on CNN: U.S. Geological Survey has just issued a landslide alert for Maryland, northern Delaware, northeastern Virginia and southern Pennsylvania.
