Bob Chill
I'm thinking that the summer storms probably helped in that they brought down some of the weaker limbs and trees. Maybe that's a positive. The last 3 years have taken their toll in my neighborhood. The three closest trees to my house got topped in July 2010 severe. This is a bit of a relief considering they are to the nw of my house.

WinterWxLuvr
Or stressed the remaining ones. Works both ways. Thinking the primary concern this time is uprooted trees with the saturated ground.

WxUSAF
gonna be weird to go from like 50-70% leaves still on trees to wintertime, 0% leaves on trees in one day Been thinking that myself. Leaves have really been raining off the trees IMBY the last couple days. I'd say most trees have already lost ~40-50%.

Mrs.J
Went to go vote today and there was a massive line! Needless to say with two kids in tow we turned around. Not sure we will be able to vote any other time this week if the power is out so it is looking like we will have to go in next Tuesday. Also my sister and brother-in-law left a day early to head home to OH. They called while traveling and said that at the Morgantown WV rest area on 79 there were 40+ power trucks parked and about the same amount seen driving on 68 E.
