Bob Chill
Yoda, blizz told you to stay out of the sne thread and stop posting so much bad information. Talk about IRONY. Hahaha I'm sorry sobs, blizz isn't laughing inside. He's pathological. Textbook case. I had no idea either. He actually makes bboy look like a good poster. Except for the Emerson-weightlifting thing. Ian
Have to define what our expectations are. Not sure.. Irene I guess is my benchmark. I think overall it will be about like that locally which is arguably lesser than the talk would suggest. Duration may make a difference.
Bob Chill
50-60 mph gusts for potentially 12 hours is enough to be concerned even if it's sunny the whole time.

Don Cherry's Jacket
The duration will make the effects worst. Assume outages and damage start overnight Sunday. Will be Wednesday morning before recovery starts. So, add 48 hours to hardship just to start.
KAOS
I believe duration will play a key role as well, and is possibly the one thing that is being overlooked by some. Of course there will be other factors involved...but duration will be the largest determining factor in the final outcome. JMO.

WVclimo
My expectations are pretty reasonable, I think. A 3.50"+ rainfall event would be the largest I've seen at this location (since '06.) More than 1-2 gusts 50+ would be my #1 wind event here also. Sustained 30+ for three or more hours would be a significant impact from an ocean storm back here. I expect all of these from this storm. If not, I'll think it underperformed. I measured a gust of 67 here 6/4/2008. I think that one is safe, though.

Personally, I have "interests" in the SNE and feel I have a right to view and post there as well. He is purposely posting misinformation continuously....it's misleading to the the general public and to our community as a whole. He should seek professional help.
