Makes sense, thanks. I suppose I'll leave it, although construction has been done for a few weeks on this street, so there doesn't seem to be much point in still blocking it.

I live in a new neighborhood with ongoing construction and the management/builder lifted them throughout the neighborhood yesterday in anticipation of the event. They just placed them on the sidewalk or grass above the drain

I'm refreshing the OPM page like it's the GFS the night before a snowstorm

I just laughed so hard...that's how it's going at my house right now too

On a side note, Spotsylvania Schools closed tomorrow.

Another odd note, got an automated call from Comcast talking about the storm and my services. Which is odd, I have worked for them for 10 years and have never heard of them doing that.

Channel 7 just did a story on the storm and had Jim Clark (a lead forecaster at the Ocean Prediction Center) labeled as Louis Uccellini and Louis labeled a Jim. Both spoke about the storm. You'd think that they would get Louis right but I guess bad editing can occur anywhere. I make plenty of typos and mistakes but you should get attribution right.

It's been raining steadily and sometimes heavily all afternoon here on the mid-Eastern Shore of Maryland. I've measured about 1/2 inch since noon. Wind is still fairly light.

Yes it has. started raining in Caroline county pre-dawn and its been moderate to at times heavy most of the day. closing in on 2 inches here already. Wind is picking up a bit past hour or so.
