Do you have a link to the eastlake ohio webcam? Looks like there is a lot of land missing that was there yesterday? Eastlake is one of the more vulnerable areas in NE OH to shoreline erosion.

Go here > http://www.wunderground.com/webcams/ ... and then click on Ohio.

Developing story out of Pleasant Prairie, WI, 5 miles from where I am at. Sand bagging is going on along the lake front from Kenosha to the state line. An area called Carol Beach is and has been in the past vulnerable to the giant waves on LM. There is a voluntary evacuation in place within 2 block of the lake. Wave forecasts are between 10-15 feet between 1-3pm. I plan on heading down that way during that time to scope the situation. There has already been reports of trees down and a few power outages in the area.

Foster - What's the update of the number of power outages in Ontario? Quebec?

Wind gusts seem to be getting a bit stronger here.

According to CP24 more than 150,000 customers lost power with a peak of 60,000 in Toronto down to 32,000 by 10am. Dozens of schools are closed across the GTA due to the outages and damage. Here is a gallery of the damage across the GTA.

As for Quebec: 49,000 customers lost power with Hydro-Quebec still reporting 32,000 customers without power as of noon.

So, approximately 200,000 customers lost their hydro so far in ON/QC.

New official report in from Environment Canada. A 75 mph gust was recorded 70 metres above ground on the Bluewater Bridge connecting Sarnia, ON to Port Huron, MI. The official Sarnia measurements were recorded at the airport which is about 2 miles west of the edge of the city and 2 miles south of Lake Huron. The winds may have been even stronger than that within the urban area of the city.

It's also worth nothing that Sarnia, a city of 73,000, was absolutely pounded last night with lakeshore and street flooding,, city-wide blackout(affecting all the city's 30,000 customers), and possibly hundreds of downed trees and hydro lines. Local officials are calling it some of the worst damage they have seen in the city. No estimates are available yet and they are still surveying the damage.

I ventured down to the lakefront this afternoon. No coastal flooding from big waves in Kenosha County that I could see - although police and officials were patrolling the lakeshore. Probably more so because there was so many people down there!

Definitely saw some coastal erosion and part of a wave break/wall along the lake that toppled in. Got some good pictures and video to post in awhile.

Highest wind gusts that I could find was about 43 mph in the immediate area - at Kenosha Harbor. Waves were easily between 10-12 feet along this shoreline!

Pretty intense conditions at Indiana Dunes. Will get some pics up later (hope they will come out good). Saw an overturned semi on westbound 80/94 on the way in with huge traffic backup...hopefully Chi Storm wasn't going that way.

Yea, I was stuck in the traffic for a bit.

Luckily I brought safety glasses along, so I only had the ear issues. No doubt everyone there was sand blasted though. It's everywhere...Hair, stuck to my skin, ears, clothes, all in my car.

Not sure if you saw the drifts in the parking lot...yea, that was built around my car.
