wisconsinwx
Both Wed and Thurs still hold some chase potential. Wed up in SE. MN/SW. WI/NE. IA...and in E. IA/N. IL on Thurs. You think discrete sups might form? I was getting the idea it'd be more of a QLCS or squall line plowing through, especially on Thursday.

I was getting the idea it'd be more of a QLCS or squall line plowing through, especially on Thursday. There could be some discrete activity on Wed, if sustained development occurs. Thurs is more of a QLCS threat.

Chicago Storm
That is for Menomonie, WI (just west of Eau Claire, WI) at 7 PM CDT tomorrow... near perfect sounding... Eau Claire, WI at 7 PM CDT tomorrow... Barron, WI at 7 PM CDT tomorrow... This is suddenly getting very frightening... Tomorrow has always had decent potential...but the question has been and continues to be whether or not the cap will break allowing for sig/sustained action. Add to that potential issues with a residual cloud deck. The Eau Claire area seems like it would be the best play, which is where the NAM shows a weaker EML/little CINH...along with nice hodo's and wind profiles. Hoosier
Whatever happens, it's a little unusual to even be talking about severe threats that far north at this time of year. Wouldn't be surprised if Thursday gets a slight risk too.
