Sundog
It would have been great if we had maps like these for the tri state area in general. I know north shore has some excellent maps but it's only for a handful of years I think?
Riptide
My average snowfall is now over 15" thanks to 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, however the map is <90% accurate for the entire state.
snywx
Looks pretty good... Since I'm 17 miles NE of Sussex & I Avg close to 55" I can say your NW corner averages look pretty on point
FPizz
I'm in piscataway and it looks about right. I have snow records for my town going back to about 88. Wish I had time to gather it all.
green tube
greetings from the middle of middlesex county. you got me in the 27-30" shade (2001-2012). my meticulous, somewhat obsessive record keeping shows an ave annual snowfall of 30.6" since 2001. Isotherm
greetings from the middle of middlesex county. you got me in the 27-30" shade (2001-2012). my meticulous, somewhat obsessive record keeping shows an ave annual snowfall of 30.6" since 2001. Yeah my 2000s avg is also higher, 34" in Monmouth County, but I did it for the 30-year. New Brunswick's 30 year avg is listed as 29.0".
ORH_wxman
Yeah my 2000s avg is also higher, 34" in Monmouth County, but I did it for the 30-year. New Brunswick's 30 year avg is listed as 29.0". Most of the northeast would have snowfall averages inflated by about 20-25% vs the long term if we used just the last decade or so.
NYCSuburbs
Looks good for eastern Bergen county. I don't have records from 00-01 to 05-06, although since 06-07 my average was about 33", so going back to 2000-01 I'd guess it would also be in the low 30's range. Another more reliable source I know of nearby has an average of 32" since 00-01. (Edited from original post, I found some of my old data)

Map seems accurate to my experience. moved from Jefferson Twp to Denville Twp....
