WXheights Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 I have seen not quite the same thing while driving back through Nags Head NC. Outerbanks during a vicious Nor'easter while working at then WSO Cape Hatteras. There were foam pieces flying over the dunes at 55 mph which in the dark looked a like a flock of sea gulls, only to note a tremendous amount of sea foam. It is weird - thanks for posting.
