Ohio and surrounding states (Let's talk winter!)

Weren't some of you ready to completely cancel winter a week or so ago? Whether or not this storm ends up mostly slop, it's still a huge change from the first half of December and we're at least in a pattern where winter storms are occurring.

I have never written off this winter...that kind of talk is crazy. Just disappointed that a storm that could have been historic for December has gone by the wayside.

Those of us on the east side of cbus in line with this band could get dumped on! Im guessing 1.5 inch per hour rates coming.

Steve. Should pivot your way soon. Def not done yet

It's gonna take a lot to even hit the low end. I'm optimistic, but good lord all that could go wrong has. I'm the county ne of Steve. Radar returns showing rain moving in on me and Steve.

I would be a little more concerned there where you are. Hopeful we all will get dumped on. But it is looking good still for many areas. Quick half an inch already here In 25 min.

Another thing to keep in mind for those worried about final totals... At least here in Columbus, there's been only about 0.45" worth of liquid, at least part of it snow. All models had double that at minimum, so now that we're snow, unless all the models were way off on precipitation totals, there's still a lot more coming.
