moneypitmike
winds are howling there last night/this morning. Yesterday's 60's brought out a slew of lady bugs. I suspect they have all been blown away by now. 44/
Damage In Tolland
Euro ensembles are coming more on board for colder air around the border and northern tier beyond D8. Starting in the N Rockies and N plains and spreading east along the northern US. That would definitely be a nice pattern in December. Yeah GEFS and JB had this first yesterday and some scoffed

dendrite
Lol. Pumpkin prancing looks fine. Only the euro has some lingering showers at EEN
Mr Torchey
52 and sunny 3 outstanding days ahead with sunny skies and temps in the 60s.....perfect Autumn weather. The KALLFS has been atrocious this month, failure after failure, hopefully things get straightened out in time for winter when we need those accurate snowfall forecasts..........I am sure Kevin is tweaking things as we speak. Quickly +1.1 for the month and .............movin' on up for at least the next 7-8 days.
CoastalWx
Yeah GEFS and JB had this first yesterday and some scoffed What a weenie, the idea was always later closer to Halloween. It;s gonna be a long winter with you quoting JB and the GEFS.
CoastalWx
Now we are back to the GEFS being warmer later in the period. Models are probably struggling to key in on certain features.
toronto blizzard
Now we are back to the GEFS being warmer later in the period. Models are probably struggling to key in on certain features. I noticed that it got really warm again for next week mainly because of it's handling of the -EPO ridge. How do the euro ensembles look for next week? CoastalWx
I noticed that it got really warm again for next week mainly because of it's handling of the -EPO ridge. How do the euro ensembles look for next week? Early to mid week next week look mild. That hasn't changed. It's more the final week that is sort of up in the air. But again...it's October. CoastalWx
It's possible the wild GEFS swing is tied to tropical convection. The Euro is more progressive and weaker with this wave.

Logan11
Feels nice and chilly here this morning anyway. Breezy, ovc and 39. It's a milder pattern upcoming, but not torched. After all the normal highs are still around 60 in KALB.
powderfreak
Snow showers flying from 1500ft and above this morning. Hard to grasp these quick turns from warm to cold.
