N. OF PIKE
Please...........no FACTS allowed if the argument was that it was warm in september, then how many of the 16 sites finished above normal by greater than 1 degree. i mean honestly -1 to +1 is really normal IMO

ctsnowstorm628
fwiw - the 12z CMC whitens the roof top of the Berks Yeah, it really digs that little s/w trough to the point where it shunts the cyclogenesis off the the coast, allowing the baroclinic zone to set up shop over SNE. It's a pretty potent vortmax, too.
ORH_wxman
http://raleighwx.ame...zgfssnow090.gif ct. blizz lollies to 2-3 on the tolland mount? That algorithm clearly doesn't use soundings, lol. snowman21
I took my a/c out 3 weeks ago and havent needed it.. no a/c or heat the last 3 weeks its been perfect I find when you have central AC you tend to use it more. When I lived in a place that had window units, once they were out, you just sorta sucked it up no matter what because you had to. When the AC just comes on by itself because of its setpoints, it will get used earlier and later in the season than if you had to do the annual installation/removal and manually turning on window units. It's not because living here is like Havana, but I set the AC to do its thing and I trust it knows what it's doing. Same goes for the heat. Depends if you run it all the time-we turn it off and open windows during periods of good weather....sure I could have used it for a time yesterday, but I didn't bother since it's not really that warm.... CoastalWx
I like the way models are trying to strengthen the MJO wave and move it to P8,1. The standard "Models can be flaky with MJO convection..." applies obviously, but it's not just the GEFS doing it.
