Scooter two record lows down here last night...ewr 34...about time! Old record was 36 in 1934...impressive

Kennedy, ny down to 37, old one was 40 in 1988

Nice stuff. Good to see even the bricks get down into the 30s.

I wonder why the record lows weren't terribly cold. I suppose this time of year has variability on a day to day basis.

Yeah i understand climo wise its not that unusual, but compared to the last few octobers this is impressive before the 15th. Nyc has only been in 30's this early 5 times since 2000

It's definitely a brief, but impressive cold shot. No doubt. For KBOS to be 35 on 10/13 is not a common thing to see.

ORH got to 29 which also is impressive. They ticked back up after 4am when winds mixed a little, but that is cold. I thought what happened after 4am would keep them up closer to 30-31 or so for the night, but they got colder than I thought.

As usual my little low lying quiet spot radiated like a mo fo local weather bug got down to 29 even with a temp of 33.7 now, eagle hill southport on southport harbor. Not only frost but ice on puddles, impressive cold shot although incredibly brief, now................its back to our regularly scheduled torch.

Cwop station in greenwich got down to 32...hope snowman closed his windows

Down to 34 this morning. The grass did not appear to be frosted in my neighborhood, though cars and roofs of houses were covered in it. I'm sure it was AOB 32 north of route 1 away from the water. And, I didn't close my windows - I like it cold.

How is it that Norwood is either the hottest or the coldest temp? Never bought the readings from there

Well OWD is in a valley. I know where it is, it's a radiating mecca so the low temps are accurate. Same as KTAN. As far as the high temps go, they seem ok to me. I never noticed them as being too hot.
