Avdave
looking at the radar they might pick up a few inches here is a shot from canaan Looks like our winter here last year Sweet view. This is going to be time limited but it is snowing in Maryland on the Allegany and Garrett county lines. You can see the snow falling on Big Savage Mtn at 2880 Ft on the highway cam before the fog blocks the view http://www.chart.state.md.us/video/video.asp?feed=8c01c60d073d000800447a45351f0214
CranberryWX
Yep, stayed in the mid 40s here too at low elevation...throw some cold drizzle in and it can't be more miserable to be outside. Forecast high was supposed to be 54.
CranberryWX
44 and rain now. furnace: on. in early October. unbelievable. I've had the heat on for quite some time now...especially the mornings...the wife and daughter let me know if I'm failing in HVAC control department. For a while there it was back and forth like a ping pong game between A/C and heat.
WVclimo
Put our heat on last night for the first time. Got down to 35 in my yard. 43 now with steady light rain, after a morning high of 47.
Symblized
I think they'll make a decision on rescheduling to tomorrow pretty quickly if the rain sets up over the area as advertised. I do wonder what time they'd have the game tomorrow though. Hopefully earlier than 8PM. Where do you all have seats tonight? Fingers crossed based on current radar situation (looking slightly up, but I don't want to jinx anything)... we're in Section 324 tonight.

Bob Chill
If it was 6 weeks later this system would snow in our backyards. I don't mind the cold because it's nice to see a wave ride a strong frontal passage and then an ul disturbance follow on its heels. If we want snow early in the season this is a good setup for it. Midlo Snow Maker
Some crazy swings oct 3rd set a hi min record of 74 for the date and tied the all time hi min for the month. Today we set the record low max for the date of 51 which is also the second coldest for so early in the season. This should hold with a few hours left for today
gymengineer
Turning on the heat is months away for me. I have to have all my windows open tonight because without air conditioning, my west facing condo rises to over 80 degrees even when it's in the 40's outside. mattie g
It was really blustery yesterday evening. I had swept the deck of leaves during the day, but now there are more on there than there were before I swept. Just one reason I hate this time of year.
