Sorry, but got a chuckle out of this tonight from DT on facebook...

"PEASE GET OFF THE WEB SITE..

soo many of you are on the web site you have crashed the server and I cannot update the web page"

:D :D :D

Yep if the models hold serve and this site will be up and down for days as well thanks to the SNE and MA crews.....or they will have banned a few thousand posters..

I will wait another day or so to see what the models do seems though most of us would be ok inland the OBX would get raked but thats not exactly outside the normal at least this far south. Would be interesting to see a Cat 2 in the Bahamas this time of the year.

LOL --- after saying yesterday that the tropical system will affect "every major city east of the Mississippi", DT now offers this disclaimer tonight.

"***KEEP IN MIND FOLKS *** RIGHT NOW ALL WE HAVE RIGHT NOW IS MODEL DISCUSSION and SPECULATION**

None of this is a forecast. Lets see what this looks Like on Thursday."

Gotta love it!!! :D :D :D

It figures.....here I finally get a named storm, and it's headed out into the middle of nowhere :) You'd think I'd at least have a chance of rain from a storm using my name. I'd like to set the Moles to humming their siren's call, and try to lure it over this way, but I've been requested to hold off the Moles until winter, so I guess I'll refrain, for now. If Goofy shows any sign of a retrograde though, then it's Mole city, lol.

For the record, I'll not have any thing to do with Moleing up a super storm for the NE, though I'd love the rain. If Sandy doesn't want to come calling here on her own, it'll get no help from me. I can't risk the Moles creating a super blizzard for points way north, with us getting the bitter dregs, lol. T
