Sundog
Thats just awful, i would move On some winter nights I'll have almost a ten degree spread between myself and the airport. If you look at ray's link, even the super urban parts of Queens were a degree or two cooler than LGA. Meanwhile where I am it's all detached homes with trees and grass and a giant golf course a few blocks away. Not exactly the urban jungle. Too bad there are no stations in this part of Queens on ray's link. Closest ones are New Hyde Park and Floral Park and they bottomed out between the mid and upper 30s. Sundog
Made it to 41° here in Queens. Aren't you next to the airport? They were 4 degrees colder AND they're closer to the water? Doesn't sound right.
famartin
Its a great site, first time i have seen it....its definitely going into my favs! One thing to keep in mind, all those sites labelled CWOP are personal weather stations. Which means you have to rely on the owner to have sited them properly. It also means that if you have one, you can get it listed. My parents is listed on the Mount Holly page (Ewing DW9142).
