Dopplerbob
First of all, moderators please move to the appropriate location if I have put this in the wrong category. It's not regional, and not weather, but at the same time not "off topic." I'm hoping to get this in front of as many mets as possible though. There is now two openings at my current television station (WROC/FOX Rochester, NY): one for the morning/noon meteorologist, one for the weekend spot. -Seals are a big plus (or if you're already in the process) -Knowledge of Weather Central 3D Live heavily favored -Great area for weather (as you probably know) -Although its not my call, I would not consider either of these an entry level position, especially the morning spot If you have a reel online, that would be the best method of applying in my opinion (along with a follow-up DVD of course) Both are full time positions. Our station is owned by Nexstar Broadcasting. Our chief is a fantastic, high energy guy and is awesome to work with. Any questions, feel free to contact me. The News Directors name is Jerry Walsh ([email protected]) and the Chief Meteorologist is Scott Hetsko ([email protected])
