Light snow being reported at the Dubuque ASOS.

This time last night it was 69/64, and tonight we sit at 39/30. What a change in air mass.

Wow, wasn't expecting to see snow reported that far east! Any idea where it is heading? Didn't think this status had any precipital water left in it!

The new midnight ob also has light snow. Seemed a little fishy before, but now I'm thinking it's some sort of instrument error or something. No one else around has reported any precip for awhile, and not even a blip on radar.

Frost and some patches of ice were present this morning. Actually the birdbath is still frozen over. Low 30° this morning.

I noticed Milwaukee finally made it to freezing!

Woke up to 32 this morning--dropped down to 31....Seems like that was the first time at and below freezing at my location. First time seeing frost on the rooftops in months...

No chance for ice on the lake.

Jon

The shoreline can easily ice up when it's this cold from wave action, but yeah no floating ice yet.

27 °F, brrrrr. Glad I'm not standing outside all night at "Freakfest" like most of the undergrads. It's the annual Halloween party, used to be awesome but hasn't been good since a riot 5 years ago.
