wisconsinwx
Tonight might end up being what last night should've been. Doesn't necessarily mean a frost, but many temps near or below freezing in the region is a good bet.

turtlehurricane
Tonight might end up being what last night should've been. Doesn't necessarily mean a frost, but many temps near or below freezing in the region is a good bet. Things could get below freezing quick, winds just starting to decouple now and dewpoints in the teens. Western suburbs of Madison down to 40 °F. Rochelle, IL has plummeted to 32 °F... http://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/time_chart.cgi?&stn=KRPJ&unit=&month1=10&day1=07&year1=2012&hour1=19&min1=35&timeout=0000&past=1&time=LOCAL&graph=t&gsize=1&gauto=1&gmin=&gmax=&linetype=colorline&timeaxis=
TugHillMatt
Interesting...places close to Lake Michigan are the coldest right now...mid to upper 30s here in the Muskegon area already, while it's in the 40s still back in Grand Rapids. Perhaps due to the clearing skies here...and calm wind. http://www.wunderground.com/wundermap/?lat=42.963402&lon=-85.668098&zoom=10&wxsn=

wisconsinwx
We have had 0.02" at the airport the last week. I'm confident we will beat that this week, with a couple good rain chances, the better one being next weekend.
Tropical
Was down to 33.7. WAA kicked in and back up to 38.9. Another freeze fail. No freeze yet for me. Love it. Greenhouse at 42.4. Geos
Temperature was steady for a little while in the mid 30s, but now has dropped to 33°. Dewpoint is inching up - should see some frost shortly after midnight. Edit: Mt. Saukville cooling back off!
cyclone77
33 here with a dew of 21. Already some very weak WAA going on but just weak enough to allow the boundary layer to continue to slowly cool. Especially in sheltered/low lying areas. Powerball
We MAY just have a last ditch chance for some severe weather this season. This wave is coming from the SW, so it will have some GOM moisture to work with. GFS has 60-70kts of wind shear along with this wave at 850mb. andyhb
Uh yeah...over MO and KS. Let's see if it slows down a bit (I.E. to put these areas in a more interesting position on Sunday).

Geos
30° for the low here. Had plenty of frost and about 1/8" of ice on the bird bath this morning. Tomatoes look totally done in for now. Saturday's 32° low didn't nip everything, but last night I think did.

Hoosier
Uh yeah...over MO and KS. Let's see if it slows down a bit (I.E. to put these areas in a more interesting position on Sunday). Highest threat area certainly looks farther west at this point...maybe getting into the western parts of this subforum. Farther east, the timing looks about as unfavorable as can be but there still several days for that to possibly adjust. Also may be dealing with a narrowing warm sector which would keep things in a smaller area. Really like the wind fields being progged. Pretty classic fall storm.
