Guru Of Reason
Amazing for so early in the season...especially with no snow cover. Now imagine that, instead, there is more than 6 inches of snow on the ground. Le Mars could go below zero .
snowstormcanuck
If this were a month later, the D7 storm could have some icing potential.

mnweather
Hopefully that's a sign for where the storm track will be this winter I honestly doubt it will be, storms will track all over the place like they usually do every year. Plus Toronto has been a snow hole lately. lol. Maybe this will be your year though. Who knows.

Powerball
More crap weather today, with some cold rain to boot. This would be a great LES convergence band setup if it were December.

wisconsinwx
If we get rain with the frontal passage Tuesday night, it looks to be the coldest rain since April or so. 38 for a low, mid 30s inland, nearly worthy of a mix if it was justa tad colder. Hoosier
Tonight looks like it might be the coldest night so far around here (gotta beat 32). Wouldn't be entirely shocked if we dip below 30.
Chicago WX
NWS Forecast for: Kankakee IL Freeze Warning Tonight: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 34. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.
turtlehurricane
Temperature already dropping, down to 50 after a high of 51. Dewpoint down to 16. NWS saying winds will pick up from a cyclone developing near the canadian border and keep things warm but I'm not gonna believe it until I see it. Hoosier
If this were a month later, the D7 storm could have some icing potential. Was just looking at it. May be early for ice but we're in the fall severe window and the basic/quick indicators would suggest it may be worth watching.
