hawkeye_wx
The CR airport(actually a mile or two south in Swisher) is already 33 at 9pm. Low 20s is not out of the question the next couple nights. This location in Swisher, several miles south of the city of CR, has been getting a few to several degrees colder than here in the city on these cold nights. cyclone77
Already down to freezing here. Dew is only 22. Definitely a hard and long lasting freeze tonight. Don't know what happened, but the temps didn't drop much at all after midnight. Only hit 29 so no hard freeze. Clouds look to be an issue for tonight so we may get out of this impressive cold snap without a hard freeze.

Clouds look to be an issue for tonight so we may get out of this impressive cold snap without a hard freeze. CR officially hit 24, but the stations in the city were 28 or 29. I was out at 4am and there was still a decent breeze. No doubt we'd go lower with a calm wind. With one more night in the mid to upper 20s I'm leaving my sheets partly up so I won't have a lot of work to do this evening. Tonight we may go below freezing earlier so I'll be up by 3am with the hot water.

wisconsinwx
God awful boring weather. The furnace has been running since the week before Fall. FYP, it's nice to see a fall chill for once, but it sure has been boring for awhile now, I would say in my location I haven't seen much interesting weather since GHD 2011 to tell you the truth. Sure, a couple of decent snowstorms and severe events, but nothing notable for sure.

I can bare this cold and boring weather if it were sunny, but I'm on the side of the lake where it will almost always be cloudy. I'll take sunny & warm but boring (or even sunny and cold but boring) over this cloudy and cold but boring crap. It's like the energy's been sucked out of me. daddylonglegs
IWX I think we tied ours here today...looks like the record was 44F and so far that is what we've maxed out at... Clouds better start clearing if we are to plummet tonite.
Geos
About half the day was cloudy here. High 48°! Furnace has been on all day - in the house and car. I've needed the heat in the house probably 5x already this season! Got some yard work done today, but it's chillly and I'm not acclimated to this yet! Currently 44°.
