CT Rain
There was a nice little bookend vortex and rotation that came ashore in Branford earlier. Was waiting for Kevin's landphoon excitement.

HoarfrostHubb
High at ORH thus far of 52F...only a few degrees off the record low max of 48F. And they weren't even 100% locked in the coldest stuff...looks like the hills just to the north had some highs in the upper 40s. Got to 51 here Was hoping to have a 49 high. ah well. Soon enough About 1.1" so far
ORH_wxman
Got to 51 here Was hoping to have a 49 high. ah well. Soon enough About 1.1" so far Low tracked into southern CT...if it had been a little further south and the pressure gradient was a bit stronger, you might have pulled it off. Still, struggling into the low 50s is pretty chilly this time of year. We saw that potential coming a few days out...Euro did nice with it. RIcoastalWX
Interesting little feature on the radar just to the NE of Orient Point extending southward towards Montauk. Almost seems to be a line - wall if you will - keeping the precip from heading and/or developing into extreme SE CT and SW RI. Getting a little dry down this way as this is the second or third recent event we've missed out on.
