These lows can do that. You still have warm water and strong low level convergence will squeeze out every drop of water. Tough to forecast, but models had the SOS signal since yesterday. I would love for them to get rimed to hell then post a picture tomorrow...it always looks amazing with the multicolored valley up to the brown/gray rocks then up to the glistening summit. But no, the stupid heavy rain has to be going on now. At least the bus stop has a cover but then it's another 5 minute walk to work from where I get off the bus. Hopefully it's slowed down by then.
