Damage In Tolland
Quite a colder Euro look than previous runs heading toward Oct. Nice d9 SWFE too with 40s an rain up here. Cold in KBUF next weekend?
ChrisM
Well I'm talking the general H5 synoptic pattern. The euro still defeats the GFS there at d5. Every model has their share of phantom storms at that time range. Can you answer my PMs yet? Please?

CT Rain
Should be fun to watch in the winter... but some of the DEP AirNow air quality monitoring stations are now part of the MADIS data set. There's a sensor at the summit of Mohawk Mountain around 1600 feet. http://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/meso_base.cgi?stn=AN882 The elevation listed on the mesowest site is incorrect. Here's the actual site info... http://www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view.asp?a=2684&q=322026&depNav_GID=1744 Poor Kevin another site higher than him in the state. That's pretty close to my house, and there have been times I've gone up there and seen at least 2-3 feet OTG when my house barely has any cover. It's pretty cool. ORH_wxman
Do the Ens support the cold and possible snow event the op has around the 1-2nd? Snow event on the OP? Lol don't see anything like that there. The ensembles don't look at cold as the OP around then...but they kind of hint that high pressure to the northeast could be holding in some cooler air. This is probably an historic snow event for the Upper Midwest/Plains depicted on the long-range GFS: Won't happen but the GFS is being stubbornly consistent with that AK block. powderfreak
Kevin's readings FTL? I just think it's great that now that it's fall he is back to posting his own temps...all summer long he NEVER posted his backyard temp (only the dew point) and only used BDL. Oh Man, This is great Long Term GFS viewing has begun. AK block would be nice in OCT. Anything that can bring cold rain and possible Higher terrain snow. Just as long as we can still get a great Color wave with the foliage!
