CoastalWx
But, but, but, Kevin is calling for storms. Actually, Areas near NYC may grab a couple of scattered storms.
CoastalWx
Still a weird model battle beyond d10. GEFS and Canadian both are cool for the East, yet the Euro ensembles are insistent on keeping it more seasonable to perhaps mild.

CoastalWx
Sounds like noone has any clue about this weekend's forecast. Could be downpour,,could be cloudy with sunny breaks lol The problem is that a break probably happens in between systems. My guess is Saturday is still damp to probably wet. It might only be drizzle or cloudy for a time, but Friday Night and Saturday Night look to be wet.

Well heading into October it looks cool..especially after the first few days. I think he's thinking from a climo point of view. I for one think it may eek out warm here, but I could be half a degree off and it's like -0.2F..lol. Close call. It doesn't look very cold or very warm here either way. JMHO. Mr Torchey
With todays massive departure, and looking at averages for the next few days and the forecast it gives me great pleasure to announce that this will mark the 20th month in a row of above normal temperatures at BDR. Congrats also go out to BOS and PVD for having there 3rd month below normal in the last 19........
snowman21
Talk about boring across the country. Other than the Child Abduction Emergency in SC this morning, the NWS national warning map lacks color.

CoastalWx
Unless we cool off tonight, yeah it was a mild night. TAN was at 58F at midnight. Even tonight and Thursday Night will probably be somewhat mild. Tomorrow will start onshore flow which will cap temps. This weekend could be mighty chilly during the day. The GFS is giving higher el in the Monads and Berks temps in the U40s with rain.
Mr Torchey
Scooter BOS is going to be close, especially with the cloudy nights to end the month, who cares...........completely and utterly normal and boring, just a September to Remember. Weather has been incredible and hopefully we can get a nor'easter to end the month before DT's inferno begins.
