Mallow
A very open, dry sky to radiate to with a surface high pressure axis over you... You' betcha it got chilly! Of course. The question was, was it going to get as dry as it did, given that the previous morning was supposed to be dry/cool but wasn't.
Chrisrotary12
Well tomorrow's forecast is slowly getting interesting. 09z SREF showing a 30-50% chance of measurable precipitation falling at PNS tomorrow afternoon. Not a fan of trying to forecast precipitation amounts for isolated shower events.
ctsnowstorm628
Currently, 82/46...very dry for PNS, and plenty of room for upward movement I think....85-87 should do it. I went 86/64/11/0.00 for today...meh

Mallow
I got 4 points today (I had 86/63). My wind was right on . For tomorrow, I went... 84/68/12/0 The 68F concerns me with how quickly they've fallen off tonight, but I don't think we'll see much below that. Maybe 67F or 66F at worst. thunderman
Just came here to comment on the temp (I see I am not the only one). Calm winds gonna bust my low of 69. Td is steadily climbing though, so like others have said we will probably see an early bottom tonight.
heavy_wx
Yea the temperature is now down to 67, two degrees below my forecast of 69. We'll see if it gets much lower with a dew point of 64.
wxmeddler
85/67/11/0.00 Felt bullish for tonights low based on success of this morning. Went with 67 hoping that the low would be at 6z with the collumn dry air still around that radiated the place to heck last night. Snet form a deivce that cannot speel. Thunder Road
I damn near forgot to forecast. Remembered at 23:56, submitted at 23:59:17. Yeesh. I think I went 84/68/9/0.00. Basically I just took the USL output and knocked 1 or 2 off everything since it was high today.

WxMidwest
What about Day 1, what was the max wind speed, climo report said 12mph --> 10 knots.., why hasn't it changed..
wxmeddler
What about Day 1, what was the max wind speed, climo report said 12mph --> 10 knots.., why hasn't it changed.. So, the above metar says the High/Low in the past 24 hours (6z-6z) was 84/61. The WxChallenge script automatically creates a final for the wind, if it's wrong, someone goes in and changes it the next morning to reflect the climate report. Usually you can just run a Hypothetical Results but it seems they're still having problems changing the script over from last year.. http://www.wxchallenge.com/challenge/hypothetical_verification.php

wxmeddler
Freaking can't tell the difference between the faulty precip. ticker and actual rain. On Wunderground there are 3 PWS stations that surround the airport. The one on the south side recorded a .01" at 8:44AM which matches the p-type sensor. So, maybe there is a .01, but the rest of the data a crap shoot, technically from the sensor itself we have .12" on the day.
