Mallow
Had 66/38/9/0 for day 1. Really hope they get it figured out, since it will be a great verification for me if they do. Have 70/39/10/0 for day 2.
Brewers
Went with 70/40/10 for tomorrow.

tsteel
Well, every other hour observations seems reasonable I guess. 43 to 43 to 39. They may hit 100 today lol.

Mallow
Went with 76/42/11/0 for today. I'm doing well so far, so as long as I can keep the high temperature and winds relatively low today, I can continue that.
Mallow
Went with 76/42/11/0 for today. I'm doing well so far, so as long as I can keep the high temperature and winds relatively low today, I can continue that. Wind stayed down and the high wasn't too bad, so I'm still doing well! Went with 80/48/13/0 for tomorrow.
H2Otown_WX
They're at 81 thus far..I'm guessing they will top out at 82 on the climo report. I had 81 so hoping it stalls there. Wind is just killing me though. Overshooting it like crazy, they are not a very windy spot I guess. Strange seeing the USL struggle this much and the NAM just killing it especially on the low
tsteel
Yea, I keep overshooting them as well and so has the NWS. It looks like the "moving days" for Burbank will be next Tuesday-Wednesday.

Mallow
Went with 54/45/15/0.11 myself... tomorrow could either keep me in great shape (with a perfect forecast, which isn't going to happen, I could be number 1 in the country ), or destroy my position and essentially ruin Burbank for me... H2Otown_WX
Looks like tonight will be a lot like last night with the low cloud deck preventing any rad. cooling. Bad decision to go with the NAM on my part. Gonna be a rough day.
Mallow
My 54F high was actually based on them being stuck around 53/54 this morning. Unfortunately, they found 55F between hours. Wrong for the right reason. Hahaha.
Chrisrotary12
Boy they did not get nearly as much rain as I thought they might. Went with .25" for yesterday. Seriously considered going 0 and gambling on it. O well. Fell to 205 after yesterday. Back up to 137 after this morning. Need to improve a little bit. Flirting with the Tourney right now. Getting in as a WC.
Brewers
Cant believe Burbank made it to 63 today...Anyways went 65/37/10 tomorrow
Mallow
Looks like I'll be 3rd place in Burbank after today, unless the wind is somehow below 20kts, in which case I'll be in 4th for 19kts, or 6th for 18kts. Definitely my favorite city of the contest so far. I'm at 65/38/12/0 tomorrow.
Mallow
WTF how did they only manage 17kts yesterday? That puts a big wrinkle in my "trophy" plans. EDIT: Highly suspicious of the winds in that daily climate report. You mean to tell me that the highest wind and the highest gust yesterday both just so happened to occur on an hourly obs? Dude, I feel the same way about the winds yesterday. I had 21 knots and was like booyah when I saw peak winds of 28 knots back to back hours. I'm emailing the NWS LA/Oxnard to get answers lol. Might just message them on facebook instead.

Probably a good idea. I'm suspicious that because of their problems they've been having to do the daily climate reports manually, and maybe they got an intern who doesn't know any better to fill it out, and they thought the hourly obs was good enough. I just checked the climate reports for all their stations they do them for and there are a lot of 20mph sustained 32mph gust in them lol. How is that even geographically possible for over 50% of their zone to have the same kind of winds when the geography changes pretty quickly over southern California. It all smells suspicious. tsteel
It verified 5mph with a gust of 20 mph today Which argues they are just taking the highest hourly gust observation and using the wind speed/gust from that hour for both the max wind speed and gust?
