GramaxRefugee
Can you elaborate a bit? I feel that the thermo sensor itself is similar enough. I find (after over 30 years observing), that siting and shelter/screen are most important. Next comes durability, battery life (if wireless), ease of use, and cost. E.g.: the little $7 (wired) Accurite indoor/outdoor unit I bought after hurricane Floyd, just to monitor my freezer temp; has turned out to be wonderfully accurate, durable, and easy on battery power. BUT...it is limited in siting, due to the wire tether. I currently run 4 thermometers, and it is the site that makes the difference. At the same location/shelter, they would all agree. Unreliable seems to always be associated with wireless units.
