snowman21
Has it already passed you, looks like the line is slowing considerably? Another 20-30 minutes or so until we get into it here at least Had a break in the action, now we're back to heavy rain. Still not much in the way of impressive wind, but at least the plants are getting a nice drink.

Brian5671
Winds starting to crank again, as some showers are developing out ahead of the main line, nice. maybe we'll get .25 after all. Upton's 1-2 inches won't verify

CapturedNature
BOS gusting 37 knots this past hour...not bad. MQE put up a 46 knot gust again. BDL had 37 knots too which is impressive for the valley floor. Can someone refresh my memory, what were the peak winds that BDL had in Irene? powderfreak
Heavy, heavy rain now. Mansfield is sustained at 40mph and just gusted to 77mph. I'm surprised the winds at MWN aren't higher than they have been given the winds on Mansfield at 2,000ft lower in elevation. Usually if Mansfield at 4kft is gusting 70-80mph, MWN is over 100mph. MWN is sustained at 52mph and gusting to 75mph. Max gust in past 24 hours is 82mph.

It was one of those drives were you shake your head and say WTF am I doing; last I experienced that was a December 96 snowstorm and tree branches were snapping due to heavy snow. Hoping this dies down as it heads this way!
