Voyager
Outside of the wind/severe/tornado threat, I'm suprised that urban flood watches haven't been hoisted by either CTP or PHL. I'm up to 1.99" as I type this and it's been raining at half inch rates for a considerable part of the morning so far.

stormspotterlive
Per 14z HRRR looks like multiple rounds of severe storms and heavy rain for the area. also has a second stronger line of storm this evening/ tonight behind the current one to the west now not so sure I agree with that but going to be interesting to watch. http://rapidrefresh.noaa.gov/hrrrconus15min/jsloop.cgi?dsKeys=hrrr_15min:&runTime=2012091814&plotName=cref15min_t3sfc&fcstInc=15&numFcsts=61&model=hrrr&ptitle=HRRR%20Model%20Fields&maxFcstLen=15&fcstStrLen=-1&resizePlot=1&domain=t3&wjet=

mike2010
using an umbrella to get the mail just now did 0 justice . (completely soaked) I still think the heaviest gust of the day was around 10am....blowtorch gust had to be around 60mph. still really decent gusts though, another one around 40 to 50mph a few mins ago. I really need to get a weather station up..
NaoPos
These constant small showers are really limiting the SB cape down our neck.. Let's see of we can rebound in between pockets... Losing my enthusiasm by the minute though. Haven't seen too many severe reports out west though.

tombo82685
I blame Ray and his "bland" title for this thread. we will see, i definitely can see it with the rather robust shear and helicity. I just think lack of instability and clouds/rain around will hold the nado threat down. the main issue IMHO is with the squall line with wind. ^^^

Riptide
The major axis of instability is just east of I-95 and wouldn't be surprised to see the tor watch verify in this area. 12z GFS dumps a ton of QPF.
