Definitely doesn't match up with the gps I have but I don't think navigation ones are meant to be that accurate with elevation because that's not their primary purpose. It looks like right up the road from my house it gets to just shy of 1100'. The hill across town gets up to about 1,400', I have a cool view of it from my front yard.
