September banter/boredom thread

Well if its late summer, and the temp is near normal or above, how is that not late summer weather, I am confused Brian? I believe the weather today fits the bill for the season if its normal or above?

It's September 15th...6 days from astrological autumn and 15 days into meteorological. When I think summerlike temps I'm at least thinking 80s and a touch of humidity...not 76/48 with breezy NW flow. I don't consider a normal Dec 15th day to be fall-like either. To each his own though.

That makes absolutely no sense what so ever, its late summer, it s a normal absolutely beautiful late summer day.

I'd say the last couple days felt summer-like up here with 80-82F afternoon temps and we even had some dews up around 60F. But I'd agree, by this point its all just nice fall weather. I'm done with summer, lol.

Today...well, not so much.

51.8/46 (1,500ft at work).

I would guess that most people would agree with me on this. It's not a comfortable beach day to lay out for most of the region. Again...different folks, different strokes.

Definitely not COC up here...

We've got occasional showers (squally like, wind driven rain out of the NW), some briefly but surprisingly heavy, low clouds, and a temp around 50F at 1,500ft at the ski resort.

Classic climo NW-flow CAA weather... Another two months and its snow squalls instead of rain showers/wind.

Very nice.

Manged to stay cooler than that down here those days thankfully.

61.6/48

You are putting words in my mouth, I never said people were flocking to the beach? I said it was a beautiful late summer day....which it is.

Cloudy, dreary, and cool.

Coming up on 1pm and we aren't moving much for a temp. May not make it out of the 50s today if we stay with this low drizzling overcast.

Big difference in temps between who's upsloping with clouds and the downsloping sunny areas. Check out far N.NH where they are stuck near 50F...not going up much from there this afternoon.

Umm yeah... So this was in my basement this morning. The yellow ring neck snake made its way into the house. I had to put on rubber gloves, corner it and pick it up with a pair of tongs and whipped it into the woods. Just an awful experience
