CT Rain
Sizable sultan signal on the GFS for Tuesday. 60 knot LLJ! Meh for severe potential, however, with limited if any sb CAPE. Still will have to watch if we can scrounge up a few hundred joules given the intense 0-1km shear.
CoastalWx
The rain threat in western SNE and into parts of NNE along the low track looks rather intense.

Watch the GFS explode the 250mb jet streak to our west as the trough sharpens. It sort of sits there and strengthens through the day with us in the right entrance region. That's key in the winter time with the jet near Maine. Entrance regions are usually where the fun is that regarding that type of stuff.

CoastalWx
Just scattered showers/ storms.humid for us? It's still pretty heavy, just that the low track is west, and thus heavy rain. Pretty strong cold shot moving in in the euro op is right after day 10.
NJwinter23
BRRRRRR in the upper Midwest, says the euro. 850s <0 over a large chunk of the north on this run with -4 850s entering the icebox at the end. As discussed here, we still get fringed with the cool shots for 1 or 2 days at a time...next wed-thu and again around next weekend.
