The sun is sporadically back here in Western Mass, and it's like the weather can't decide what it's going to do.

It'll know soon enough.

I wouldn't be surprised if we gusted to 50 just ahead of the line. Then some torrential rain for about 15 minutes and now tapering down a lot.

I guess that's it.... now bring on Fall.

That's what I'm anticipating. Best will be in CT and VT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

CONNECTICUT

MASSACHUSETTS

SOUTHWEST MAINE

NEW HAMPSHIRE

RHODE ISLAND

COASTAL WATERS

EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 450 PM UNTIL

1100 PM EDT.

HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70

MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

Looking forward to the cool down. This 72/71 is pretty gross.

Looks like PF is going to be the winner here (outside of those that had tornados, of course. :)

Nah I doubt we see anything exciting down in town here. Radar looks to be decreasing in intensity. The Champlain Valley had the incredible wind shear to work with due to the funneling of winds between the Greens and Adirondacks.

I wish I was up top in the summit lodge on the mountain... they're up to 40G55 and increasing at the summit weather station as the line approaches.
