moneypitmike
Has the heavy rain gotten to you yet? It's really dark here, but it's pouring. Not really. The mostly S-N trajectory of it has me missing the heavy stuff riding the Housatonic Valley (?) toward you and another batch riding up the CT Valley to my east. I think the area passing through Tolland (Mass) now has it's eyes on here based on that trajectory. Down to 70/67. It's shawl time.
weatherwiz
What's the story for the val wizzy. In e Hartford watching this trainwreck of a game We just have to see if anything develops closer to us...right now the boundary for development is off to our west but it does appear to be sliding east some. radarman
Can we take the eastern vs. Western sne discussion to the tropical thread on the main board? Sun poking out again here after some drizzle. Humid and windy. Things looking good for later.

Just as I am typing this, it has really become pouring buckets outside. It's a dreary day, and the temp has gone down to 72. Thank God we have great flood gauges. The dewpoint, however, has gone WAY up to 68.

weatherwiz
Do we get any Bow segments with the mainline Yes, probably multiple embedded ones...if this does end up becoming a serial derecho that's why highlights a serial derecho from a typical progressive derecho...a serial derecho is a derecho with multiple embedded bow echoes while a standard progressive one has one massive bow.
