Has the heavy rain gotten to you yet? It's really dark here, but it's pouring.

Not really. The mostly S-N trajectory of it has me missing the heavy stuff riding the Housatonic Valley (?) toward you and another batch riding up the CT Valley to my east. I think the area passing through Tolland (Mass) now has it's eyes on here based on that trajectory.

Down to 70/67. It's shawl time.

Just as I am typing this, it has really become pouring buckets outside. It's a dreary day, and the temp has gone down to 72. Thank God we have great flood gauges. The dewpoint, however, has gone WAY up to 68.

Yes, probably multiple embedded ones...if this does end up becoming a serial derecho that's why highlights a serial derecho from a typical progressive derecho...a serial derecho is a derecho with multiple embedded bow echoes while a standard progressive one has one massive bow.
