East of the Connecticut River in Connecticut = Eastern New England

Oh please if this was a snowstorm affecting Eastern New England you would magically move Tolland into that area.

U might break the post number record for the day LOL.

The only area of SNE that can make a legitimate claim to be "Eastern NE" is the outer Cape. What is frequently (and it's always bothered me) is that so frequently in the discussions, the use of "eastern", "central", "western" is said as "ENE/CNE/WNE" when what is really being described is "eastern sne", "central sne" and "western sne".

Under the SNE descriptors, I would consider eastern areas being east of the Worcester Hills/down through 395 in CT. Central would be west of there to the CT River, and western areas west of that to the NYS line. Except for Joe in Fairfield which I think more of as BWI.

Meanwhile, very dark here, some light rain. Winds calmed a bit.

Has the heavy rain gotten to you yet? It's really dark here, but it's pouring.
