Its a Tornado warning with extreme threat to life and property (per msg).... you don't want to mute them! Its like forced weather radios for everyone. It goes by tower location so you only get alerts for your location.

You can opt out of all alerts except Presidential Alerts.

Somehow, I think we'd be better off ignorant if the missiles were on their way...

77/77, I know this is only 5 days out of August, but come on. Tropical air mass ftl.

I pointed that out in the banter thread last night. When the sun first made it's apearance yesterday afternoon, our temp shot up to 81 with a dp of 76. I like heat, but that was uncomfortable even for me.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS CONFIRMED A

WEAK TORNADO NEAR MOUNT EPHRAIM IN CAMDEN COUNTY NEW JERSEY ON

SEPTEMBER 4, 2012. A BRIEF TOUCHDOWN OCCURRED ALONG THE WEST SIDE

OF CLEVELAND AVENUE AROUND 631 PM. THE TORNADO THEN MOVED IN AN

EAST-NORTHEAST DIRECTION...CROSSING JEFFERSON AVENUE BEFORE

LIFTING AS IT APPROACHED KINGS HIGHWAY. SEVERAL HOMES IN THE AREA

EXPERIENCED ROOF DAMAGE...MAINLY FROM FALLEN TREE LIMBS. ONE LARGE

TREE WAS UPROOTED..AND A FEW SMALL TREES WERE BENT FROM THE WIND.

THE MAXIMUM WIND SPEEDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 70 MPH...MEANING THIS

WAS A WEAK EF-0 TORNADO.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE CAMDEN COUNTY

OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND THE MOUNT EPHRAIM OFFICE OF

Very extreme rain here in Ardmore can't see about 3/4 of a block here basically 2 regular blocks long here on Haverford road the most you can see is one regular block at best streets are starting to fill up with water not flooding yet but in the works.

Winds gusting pretty good from the north here all of the a sudden.
