I headed to Mansfield for a few turns today, and while I didn’t find that the skiing was all that fantastic (even by November storm standards), I got to get in some powder turns and be out in the snow, so that was nice. I skinned up Nosedive, and the snow depths I found around midday today were as follows:

1,600’: T-1”

2,000’: 1”-2”

2,500’: 2”-4”

3,000’: 4”-6”

3,600’: 6”+

I’ve added a couple of pictures below, and more details are in my trip report from today.

Nice snow pics everyone--great to see.

Had some snow here too but nothing more than spits & spurts. The clouds lifted just enough yesterday afternoon and I just happened to be out and about during that time to see some snow on both the mountains of western NH (Cube, Smarts, Piermont, etc) and to our NW on the Knox Mountains/Orange Heights between here and Barre. Snapped a few pics where I could--I'll post them up later today after I have a chance to go through them.

Cloudy and 30F this morning. First subfreezing temps I've seen here with solid cloud cover (as opposed to a clear, radiationally cooled night, meaning).

Also, I've very glad to get that hour of time back....

A very light coating in a few spots here at LSC with a few flurries falling. Got to 27.7F last night, up to 30.7F.

1" last night in Barton, VT per my professor at 1,500ft.

Early this morning when I woke up we had a nice -SN shower here on campus for about 10-15mins and you can see on our station when those moved out.... Temp falls & Dewpoint falls.

Cold NW winds over the lake are creating some decent squalls south of I-89 in the Greens and western slopes...even backing up into BTV area.

Can see two main streamers trying to develop from the lake to the mountains.

I was just thinking that there might be some lake effect snow off Lake Champlain with the NNW winds and 850 mb temperatures below -10 C.

34.1F right now...pretty damn cold afternoon with off and on -SHSN all day. We had a late morning high of 37.8F when the sun was making appearances. The dewpoint has plummeted to 16F. Looks like a really cold night tonight. MAV has 18F for CON while the MET has a nippy 15F.
