If you ever want the pleasure of avoiding any interesting weather of any type, I recommend moving to southeast Wake Co. Every line of thunderstorms breaks apart right before the south-central/southeastern part of the county, and all flash flooding remains just to the north. It's a very safe an unexciting place to live....if you're into that kind of thing.

56.5 this morning! It feels great outside!

57.5 here at the homestead. I slept in this morning but was up around 3 AM last night and it was pretty awesome. I can't wait for the next few mornings on the way in to work at 6:30AM. Driving down 285 with the windows down sounds pretty nice in 55 degree weather.
