Should see some Frost in the valleys of the northern MTNS atleast.

nchighcountrywx
Temperatures dropped to as low as 38 this morning on the Grandfather Mountain Summit with 40 being the norm in the High Country this morning above 5000'. This will really push the early fall color along very quickly. It's great to finally put the hot summer behind us.
NavarreDon
Finished with 2.91" in Weaverville. Some lingering clouds kept us from getting into the 40s this am (50.3°). Looks like today might be the first time since last spring that we don't hit 70° on a full sun day.
Met1985
Ah very cool morning with a low of 47 degrees. Thought it would drop lower but the low clouds and constant breeze kept up the temps. Today looks marvelous!
griteater
Dry looking cold front swings through this weekend, then it's another step down in the temperature department. GFS has high of 70 on Monday for Charlotte, with dewpoints getting into the upper 30's. Euro run looked just as cool.

NCWX
This has to be one of the earliest times leaves have been falling this fast. 50% of my small tree's are bare, and many of my maples are not changing a beautiful color... just brown and falling. I am thinking 100% bare before Halloween. Last year we still had a few left in Dec. How far south are people seeing this?
