mattie g
Poured for about ten minutes in Crystal City around lunchtime. Looked at the radar and home is bone dry...or incredibly warm and humid but without rain.

MN Transplant
Funny to see the wind go back to S in the afternoon, and have DCA trail the other two airports by 4 degrees.
das
What a disappointing event. 0.20" total for me Indeed. Topped out at 0.11" for the 6 day "event" in Clarksburg. Same amount that I had in the noontime shower that swept through SW DC today.

mattie g
NAM has a decent amount of precip coming through here today so I'm hugging it. Fail.
EastCoast NPZ
.08" total since two Sundays ago. 91F high today with HI of 97. Hardly a cloud in the sky here today. Overperformed on temp by 5 degrees. Just can't wait for tomorrow and Friday. Feels like 2010 again.
RodneyS
Ellinwood's post reminded me - these did end up being new records for Tuesday. And today again as well (for high minimums at BWI, DCA, and IAD). For DCA, that's the 30th minimum of 75+ in 2012, which leaves it eight short of the 1980 record. WinterWxLuvr
Have had plenty of rain this summer, but Isaac was a dud over here.
mattie g
I know I'm going to jinx it, but that blob of rain looks promising. It'll probably build south and steal all the fun from the north side, but still...better than anything in the last five days.
snowfan
Wasn't expecting that rain this morning probably because I wasn't paying attention. Looking ahead to the weekend.....LWX was pimping numerous storms late in the day on Saturday. Looks like a nice cool off coming early next week. RodneyS
And today again as well (for high minimums at BWI, DCA, and IAD). For DCA, that's the 30th minimum of 75+ in 2012, which leaves it eight short of the 1980 record. I spoke too soon with respect to BWI and IAD. However, DCA's minimum of 78 did break the record for September 5th.

usedtobe
I'm under 20% POPs today but radar is showing yellows just to my west. POPS isn't looking too good here. Unlike some around here, I don't need any rain.
