Tropopause_Fold
This airmass will feel mighty nice. i feel like the last two humid airmasses - this one and last weeks - have felt worse dewpoint-wise than some of the mid-summer ones...76/72 has felt more aggravating than 86/

But some good gusty cool NE winds...Fall airmass FTW

CoastalWx
No kidding...it's definitely getting old Probably not a very Fall like pattern going forward, but seems like mild days/cool nights type deal after warm up later next week.

I really don't mind daytime highs in the 80 degree range if we can cool to 50 at night But in a couple of weeks I want to smell wood smoke in the morning, be starting to do some leaf blowing, and occasionally feel like I need a sweatshirt

powderfreak
Low 30s in Minnesota this morning....bring it Nice...I've got the under armour thermal layers ready to go Monday and Tuesday. Have some stuff to do both days up between 3-4K feet, while the snowmakers continue to rush and finish their big warm season projects. Highest it'll get up top will be 40s to mid 50s up onthe high elevations, with overnights near freezing...going to feel frigid after working in the warm temps recently. Going from t-shirt at 4k this week to hats and gloves early next week if the wind is ripping.

CoastalWx
Thru day 10 at least We will be pretty warm late next week into next weekend but it should cool off somewhat. At least up this way I don't see 10 days in a row of 80+.
powderfreak
You have a dream job Only if you like exciting weather...most folks wouldn't be stoked on most days. Like being outside at high elevation freezing in the wind while it pours rain, or in the winter when it's -30F with gale force winds and you can't feel your face or hands haha. I couldn't raise a family on the wages but for someone in their 20s who enjoys extreme weather, it's a good fit for now.

Yeah that matches what my prelim thoughts were on lows for monday night....perhaps a few of the cold spots near 40F...maybe we'll see some upper 30s too. Don't think we'll be cold enough for frost anywhere in SNE though...the NNE cold spots like HIE/BML should have a good shot at frost.
