CoastalWx
SOS signal going up for RI and SE MA. NWS should just post that pic of Steve on the counties they desire, instead of making them highlighted in green.

Mr Torchey
BDR may set its all-time warmest September low temperature if this morning's low of 76 holds. The current record is 75 set on 1953-09-05, 1973-09-03, 1977-09-02, 1980-09-01, 1985-09-06, and 1993-09-03. Mr Torchey
+3.8 for the month, all 4 days above normal, tomorrow and Friday look awesome sunny with highs in the mid 80s. September sizzle is right on track. I hope this cool shot next week pans out, always nice to feel the first hints of Autumn, as it makes me truly appreciate the warmer temps. .45 storm total here, looks like one more line to possibly come through. Logan11
Very nice here now. BKN, but lots of blue patches and 70F. Not sure of the dew point, but much lower with a nice breeze..maybe around 60. Shower overnight barely wet the ground, already looks dry. West wind 3 to 8 mph. Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Thursday Night A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. West wind 7 to 9 mph. Friday Night A slight chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Saturday A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 40%. radarman
Wow. Only .60" overnight here. Franklin Co. has gotten half the rain as your area over the past month and it's only a difference of 20-25 miles. Just gross here right now. 71/70. That is a really big difference. Didn't see the overnight radar loop, but it must've been a band just north of the pike that got us and missed you and N. CT. I'm using the 2.6" rainfall number from the Davis Pro, and although I'd like to not get involved a debate over it's accuracy, suffice to say it was substantially more than .6". But in the last 30 days not including last night, we've had 3" on Aug. 10th and 11th, 1" on the 16th, and a .5" on the 28th. Obviously the random pop-up heavy rainers are hit or miss, but has it really been that much dryer up there? In any case, winter is not too far away and our days for jackpotting are numbered. Those temperatures would be above normal even for CT. This is the time of year I get impatient, though by now I should know real sustained fall (read cool) weather is still 5-6 weeks away.
