Clinch Leatherwood
Downtown Biloxi under water - per Jim Edds on twitter. @ExtremeStorms http://www.wlox.com/link/174626/live-local-and-statewide-traffic-cams you can view a lot of webcams right there. Some areas have some water but I was just watching cars drive around with no problems. Note only one area was flagged as closed.
Voyager
Must have finally lost power in the French Quarter. The Bourbon Street Earth Cam had been working all night and into the daylight hours this morning, but now is just an archived image instead of a live one. Ed Lizard
Unconfirmed via co-worker from Louisiana. Interstate 10 at LaPlace closed due to flooding. Tried calling our field in St. Charles Parish (near Norco), cell service out.
mattmfm
Hard Rock Casino on Biloxi Gulf coast. Looks similar to the surge level during Gustav. For reference, Katrina was to the top of the carport overhang on the left side of the picture.

canderson
Any news/reports out of Gulfport? Of all actual populated/developed areas it appears that they have been hit the hardest with the rotating cells sitting over top for the past 12-16 hours essentially. mattmfm
Plaquemines Parish just ordered mandatory evacuation for entire west bank of Mississippi now (east bank already under evacuation). West bank, fwiw, is protected by federal levees. Seems odd to order evacuation in the middle of the storm. http://www.nola.com/hurricane/index.ssf/2012/08/mandatory_evacuation_ordered_i.html
