Starting to see more flooding reports

Ocean Springs [Jackson Co, MS] public storm surge at 11:15 AM CDT -- member of the public reported water covering high school parking lot in ocean springs about one half mile inland. it was relayed to NWS New Orleans that it was south of the ocean springs airport.

Pascagoula [Jackson Co, MS] emergency mngr reports storm surge at 11:15 AM CDT -- multiple streets in Pascagoula closed due to inundation from storm surge associated with hurricane Isaac.

Surge is becoming a issue well away from the center here is part of the last HLS from MOB.

STORM SURGE OF 5 TO 8 FEET ABOVE GROUND LEVEL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS

COASTAL ALABAMA AND MOBILE BAY...ESPECIALLY FOR THE WESTERN AND

NORTHERN SHORES OF MOBILE BAY. STORM SURGE OF 3 TO 6 FEET ABOVE

GROUND LEVEL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE WESTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE.

THE TIDE GAUGE AT DAUPHIN ISLAND IS AT 3.7 FT AND RAISING. 2-3 FT OF

WATER ON BIENVILLE BLVD (WEST END OF DAUPHIN ISLAND) IS BEING

REPORTED. WATER STARTING TO COVER THE ROAD ON FAR EAST END NEAR BILLY

GOAT HOLE. WATER STILL RISING. DAUPHIN ISLAND CAUSEWAY (HIGHWAY 193)

NORTH OF THE BRIDGE HAS WATER OVERWASHING THE ROAD.

THE TIDAL GAUGE AT COAST GUARD SECTOR (NORTH MOBILE BAY) IS NEAR 4 FT

AND STEADY. WATER BEGINNING TO SPILL ONTO CAUSEWAY...AND WATER OVER

DAUPHIN ISLAND ROAD NORTH OF THE DOG RIVER BRIDGE IS BEING REPORTED.

IN FLORIDA...PORTIONS OF FORT PICKENS ROAD (HIGHWAY 399) IS FLOODED

AND WATER OVER ROAD (GULF BLVD) AT WEST END NAVARRE BEACH FLORIDA IS

BEING REPORTED.

Just as I mention this:

It's interesting to watch the radar out of Mobile right now... look at the outer rain band currently affecting the northwest Florida coast. You can see waves propagating through the rain band!

in the main thread, now we have a tornado warning out for that band in Escambia and Baldwin counties.
