IWXwx
Looks like I got screw-holed yesterday. I caught 0.21". 0.80" at FWA, less than 25 miles to my NE and a slug of over 3" near Marion 20 miles to my south. I know about the Marion rain, as I drove through the tropical downpour yesterday afternoon. Oh well, at least most areas got a good soaking. Chicago WX
IND radar has the winter storm bust look, locally (Crawfordsville at the moment). 3-5" in the forecast, light snow begins, radar looks great...then subsidence, donut hole develops, 3-5" turns into 0.5-1.0", depression. Thanks for the kudos. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. You may not be done yet though. A cell could yet form right over LAF's gauge. Also, I was thinking I would get over an inch IMBY, but have less than half an inch right now.
Fickle Heights
Somewhat unexpected heavy shower moving through here at the moment.
