Lady Di
Wow. Go Monmouth! I didn't see much mention of wind gusts. They weren't as strong as forecasted were they? Not complaining. My favortie sort of storm for the work week, saw some flakes flying without hampering the commute.

dryslotted
We wound up with about 2.5". It took longer to change over fully imby. We were oh so close to the death band in CNJ. I kept hallucinating it moving SW towards me, but it never happened...

BucksCO_PA
The mainstream media has finally gone weather-wild, maybe not quite as much as this place, but I never thought I'd see so many features about weather. The Star-Ledger has a live blog going, and the television stations all have observers up and down the Jersey Shore a la Jim Cantore. A contractor came out to give me an estimate to repair my roof & unprovoked he started talking about the how the European model performed so well with Sandy & the GFS was all over the place...... I was floored, for the most part I view the MSM & TWC as purveyors of weather misinformation, hype & mass hyteria however I suppose there's some good coming out of these outlets in that the general population is now more aware of weather fundamentals than at any piont in my lifetime.
