You never forget your first bear sighting! I was in the Smoky Mtns. and got withing about 10 feet of one! At least you have picture evidence.

True.

Shocked I got that clear a picture as I was holding my 2 1/2 year old while jogging back into the restaurant! My wife and the 3 month old were already back inside by that point. The bear went dumpster diving at the restaraunt and came out with some goodies and vanished back into the woods. It was quite a sight.

THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 28 DEGREES WAS LAST REACHED IN 1931...AND WAS

PREVIOUSLY SET IN 1906.

A CONTINUOUS WEATHER RECORD HAS BEEN KEPT AT WILLIAMSPORT SINCE 1895.

THE TEMPERATURE EARLIER THIS MORNING DROPPED TO A COLD 26 DEGREES

AT THE LEHIGH VALLEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THIS BREAKS THE OLD

RECORD OF 30 DEGREES, WHICH WAS SET BACK IN 2006.
