You never forget your first bear sighting! I was in the Smoky Mtns. and got withing about 10 feet of one! At least you have picture evidence. At least you have picture evidence. True. Shocked I got that clear a picture as I was holding my 2 1/2 year old while jogging back into the restaurant! My wife and the 3 month old were already back inside by that point. The bear went dumpster diving at the restaraunt and came out with some goodies and vanished back into the woods.
