LMolineuxLM1
looks like the growing season is going to come to an end for a lot of people fri night I know for us in Delco we still will have at least 2 or 3 more grass cuts ahead, it seems. I still have the front yard to take care of.
famartin
MOS numbers continue to slump for Friday night... now a freeze appears likely as close in as LOM->DYL and it won't be far away from TTN, while PTW->UKT on north and west may reach the upper 20s. LMolineuxLM1
2-3 more cuts? No way. If we stay 40 or above the grass will still be able to grow unless we get a good frost, which I don't see for another week or 2 here.

Yeah, there has never been a year in which I didn't cut my lawn at least once after November 1...so 2 to 3 more cuts seems reasonable. It takes more than a few nights with temps in the 20's to stop the lawn from growing.
dryslotted
I dropped the mower deck down a notch (I keep it on the highest setting) last weekend in the hope that I can keep it to two more mows for the season. I am going to put down some winterguard fert which will likely spurn some late growth...

Lady Di
Picked the last of pepper plants last weekend. There maybe a few left, looks like we're several hours away from the end of the garden til next year. Whew, this year was good. Had some frost out here in open areas of Chesco this morning. Sure felt good. Hopefully tonight the invasion of stink bugs and those tiny gnats will be over (or at least help).
